Speed Biker Hits the Headlines

One of Speed’s motorcycle courier team, Colin “Fossie” Foster, has hit the headlines in Practical Sportsbike magazine.

Due to Colin’s long standing favouring of a classic motorbike for his work as a despatch rider, he has come to the attention of the magazine and featured in a four page spread detailing his confidence in the early eighties Suzuki Katana.

The article, which makes an interesting read, covers Colin’s early working life in the service of Queen and Country, through years spent as a HGV driver, and onto the start of 20 years (so far) on the roads as a motorcycle courier.

Covering the early days he spent with Diamond Despatch in Wythenshawe, through to his current home with us at Speed Couriers, he has remained loyal to the Suzuki Katana motorcycle. In fact, he still runs an immaculately maintained 1982 model with upwards of 288,000 miles on the clock as his daily work bike!
