The company is a founder member of The National Courier Association (NCA), now the National Courier and Despatch Association (NCDA), the trade organisation that represents the courier industry, with 80 members across the UK consisting of the largest independent courier companies.
Membership applications to the association are carefully checked with a comprehensive vetting process and membership is restricted to those member company’s who are able to adhere to the high quality of service standards set by the association.
Each year, the National Courier Association members vote to award Best National Courier Company of the Year and Best Regional Courier Company of the Year; Speed Couriers have received the National Award from its industry peers 2 times and the Regional Award an amazing 10 times during the past 15 years.

The company has received the awards “Business of the Decade” by The Princes Trust and was a finalist in the “Established Business” category of the Trafford Business Awards in September 2010.

Committed to a total recycling policy, “green driving” policy and working towards 100% carbon offset, Speed Couriers has gone further than just fulfilling its legal requirements. In 2015 we will begin trials of all-electric courier vehicles in support of a number of our NHS clients.
