Hospital courier services from Speed Couriers
Speed’s hospital courier services ensure a secure distribution channel for NHS PCT’s and GP surgeries; collecting and delivering pathological samples, internal mail and consumables, patient records and controlled drugs.
We can supply ad – hoc or scheduled courier movements, with all the benefits of specialist drivers and equipped vehicles, to work alongside an exisiting internal transport department or even a complete out-sourced service arrangement.
Our total outsourced solution is more cost-effective and flexible than an in-house transport division, removing the uncertainty of the fluctuating costs of fuel, PAYE and maintenance, that also alleviates the headache of sickness and holiday cover.
Call 0161 877 2000 now to discover how outsourcing your hospital courier services can save you money and improve service levels for your stakeholders!
All our drivers are uniformed and carry appropriate PPE, trained in GMP / GDP carriage of blood and blood products, and trained and accredited under our in -house spillage procedure training scheme. Drivers are further trained in the carriage of samples in formalin and formalin spillage procedures.
