Potential Fraud Alert

Speed Couriers has become aware of fraudulent activity through the misuse of the Speed Couriers (Northern) Ltd name and brand through one or more Internet auction sites.

Typically the buyer of goods, often outside of the borders of the United Kingdom, is led to believe that the item they are purchasing is to be shipped via Speed Couriers, and that monies paid for such items would be held in trust by Speed Couriers until the point of receipt of the items.

Other instances, seemingly, have led to purchasers forwarding monies to sellers for unseen items, only to be told that additional monies must be paid as the shipper, supposedly Speed Couriers, has been held at Border Customs pending payment of taxes / duties. Obviously, no such activity has taken place and it is wholly a scam (fraud).
