Protecting your parcels during the festive season

Despite being a time to celebrate the holiday season is also the time parcel thieves begin to pick up the pace. We don’t want for you to get all excited about a parcel only to find its content has been tampered with. That is why we have come up with our list of steps you can take to protect your deliveries throughout the holiday season.

Leave delivery instructions:

If you aren’t always at home then make arrangements for an alternative delivery location. Perhaps ask a neighbour if they will keep hold of the parcel until you are able to collect it. Make sure your parcel is left in the hands of someone you trust.

Deliver to your workplace:

If you work long hours the chances are you won’t be available during your parcels delivery window. Unless your work forbids deliveries, you should be able to receive your parcel at some point during the day.

Opt for overnight delivery:

Our couriering team offer a cost effective overnight delivery service. Using this service you can select your time preference so that you can be there when your parcel is expected to arrive.

Give your parcel a warning label:

There are many types of effective warning labels that you can place on your parcel. However, when it comes to stopping thieves in their tracks security seals can be a great option. This will alert you as to whether the contents have been disrupted in some way.
